Attributes of DRY, WET and DAMP for Various Lighting Fixtures

1. Wall Lamps

• DRY: Suitable for dry indoor areas (humidity ≤60%), such as living rooms and bedrooms. No special waterproof design, IP20-IP40.
• DAMP: For damp indoor areas (humidity 60%-80%), like bathrooms and kitchens. Basic moisture-proof, IP44-IP54.
• WET: For outdoor or water-exposed areas. Full waterproof, IP65+, suitable for outdoor walls.

2. Outdoor Lamps

• DRY: Rarely used, only for closed outdoor cabins with no moisture.
• DAMP: For semi-enclosed outdoor areas (e.g., covered balconies), moisture-proof and splash-proof, IP44-IP54.
• WET: Most common, for open outdoor areas (e.g., gardens, roads). Waterproof and corrosion-resistant, IP65+.

3. LED Lamps

• DRY: Indoor dry scenarios (e.g., indoor downlights), simple sealing, IP20-IP40.
• DAMP: Damp areas, with moisture-proof LED chips and sealed casings, IP44-IP54.
• WET: Outdoor or underwater use, fully sealed, corrosion-resistant, IP65+ (IP67-IP68 for underwater).

4. Chandeliers

• DRY: Mainly used in dry indoor spaces (living rooms, dining rooms), no waterproof, IP20-IP40.
• DAMP: Special damp-proof chandeliers for kitchens/half-covered balconies, IP44-IP54.
• WET: Rarely used, only for special outdoor covered scenes, full waterproof, IP65+.
