Safety and performance of LED Lighting Fixture

Many people will be concerned about the use of LED lights safety issues, which can be analyzed from two perspectives: luminous Angle and brightness:

1. Beam Angle:

The luminous angle of the LED lamp will be different according to the different uses, so the use of the LED lamp should be taken into account when purchasing, for example: if it is a background wall, it is better to use the LED lamp with diffuse angle, but this lamp must not be installed on the desk and the head of the bed, otherwise it will have a certain impact on vision.

2. LED Light Brightness:

LED luminaires should meet the laser class I standard. 1WLED lamp = 3W energy-saving lamp = 15W incandescent lamp, the higher the wattage, the greater the impact on vision, so don't blindly choose LED lamps with high wattage.

Second, the performance of LED lamps:

The performance of LED Lamps and Lanterns is also the most concerned when we choose, the size of the chip, the life and wavelength of the lamp, etc., before purchasing, these knowledge must be clearly understood:

1. Chip size:

The wafer size of LED lamps is generally expressed in terms of side length, and the quality of large wafer LEDs is better than that of small wafers.

2. Wavelength Consistency:

The wavelength affects the color of the LED lamp, the regular LED lamp should be the same wavelength and the same color, some manufacturers without LED spectrochromator are difficult to produce pure color LED lamps during production, so it is better to choose big brands and large manufacturers when choosing.

3. Lifespan is different:

Life is also the most common point of concern for the selection of LED lamps, the service life of lamps and lanterns is determined by the light attenuation, the light attenuation of LED lamps refers to the light intensity after a period of time of lighting, its light intensity will be lower than the original light intensity, and the low part is the light attenuation of LED, and the light attenuation of small lamps has a long service life.

Third, Safety of LED Lighting Product:

Although LED lamps are not large items, they also need to use electricity, so they cannot be ignored in terms of safety:

1. Leakage current:

Since the LED lamp is a unidirectional conductive light-emitting body, if the LED lamp has a reverse current, that is, when the leakage current is too large, the life of the LED will also be reduced, and it will affect the safety of use, which is easy to cause short circuits.

2. LED Luminaire Gel:

Generally speaking, the colloid of LED is epoxy resin, and when you choose, you can choose to add anti-ultraviolet and fireproof agent products, although the price is higher, but the safety of LED lamps with these functions will also be improved.

3. Antistatic Ability:

The stronger the antistatic ability of the LED lamp, the longer the service life, generally speaking, the LED lamp with an antistatic greater than 700V is qualified.
