Finish painting is an important process to improve the surface aesthetics and anti-corrosion performance of lamps and lanterns,
First of all, the Lighting Fixture parts need to be pre-treated, which includes removing impurities such as grease, dust and rust from the surface of the product. Improve the surface condition by mechanical or chemical methods, making it more suitable for subsequent treatment. Phosphating, which forms a protective film of phosphate on the surface of the metal, which helps to enhance the adhesion between the coating and the substrate. For some occasions that require special protection, a primer may be sprayed first. The primer provides additional protection against corrosion and provides a better adhesion base for the topcoat.
This is followed by electrostatic spraying, which uses electrostatic spraying technology to evenly adsorb the powder coating onto the surface of the pre-treated Lighting Product parts. For workpieces with complex shapes, manual assistance may be required to complete the spraying work.
Thirdly, the sprayed lamp workpiece is sent to a special oven and heated at a certain temperature (usually 180°C to 220°C) for a period of time (generally 10-20 minutes) to melt the powder and solidify into a uniform and hard paint film.
Finally, the lamp parts are cooled and inspected, and the lamp parts are removed from the oven and naturally cooled to room temperature. The follow step is rigorous quality check to ensure that the coating is good.
